A1 / A1 Mini rotating PTFE tube connector

UPDATE 2025/03/17: After receiving multiple feedbacks from other users, I have included in the descriptions that this model is compatible with the standard A1 printer as well.

This is a PTFE Tube Connector for the A1 and A1 mini.

You can replace your original connector with this one if you need a replacement or you need a rotating version of it.

I needed this because when I am printing from my filament dryer the filament was sometimes scraping along the bottom of the original connector due to the height differences of the printer and the hole on the dryer.

I uploaded a PETG and a PLA print profile, I recommend using the PETG one, because its more durable.

Getting the supports out of the clip part can be tricky, but you need to make sure that you removed every bit of support material because it can cause problems during the assembly.

Remove this 2 hexhead screws and the backplate.
Gently push on the backside of the clip with a flat screwdriver to remove the current PTFE connector or cover.
Empty connector slot should look like this.
After removing the support material from the parts, push these two together. You will need quite a bit of force, just make sure you are pushing it straight.   I recommend using a tissue or a piece of cloth to not hurt your fingers.
The assembled part should look like this. Give it a few turns in your hand to break in the parts.
Put half of the connector clip in the slot. Make sure that the clips are in the right position for the slots.
Push the other side of the connector in firmly. You should hear a click if its in the right position.
Put the cap on the ptfe tube.
Push the ptfe tube into the clipped on connector.
Screw the cap on the connector to hold the ptfe tube tight.
