Description

Ryobi link rails, if you want the full length that is the original rail print 2 of each, these can be as long as you want, plus ive included the rail ends which you dont get from ryobi, my rails will also take any ryobi bracket as the rails have the cut out slots, you will need to print with supports, make sure the setting is for anywhere and not just the print bed, this needs support for the over hang that will become the bracket holder when on the wall, the supports break away nice and clean leaving a great finish.......

Good idea, great design and was going to print them out... but Ryobi dropped the price of the 2-pack rails to $25. So, unless I can get filament for under $10/kg, it's close to the same as buying in the store. Maybe someone can shave off some more filament from the model to make it cheaper (and faster) to print? How about hard coding in simplified supports for the overhangs and saving some filament there? Or instead of supports under the dome under the piece, can it be designed with spanning layers? The back side doesn't have to be pretty.

These Files worked as expected. I printed some end caps to finish off the Ryobi Link Rails I have in my garage and am incredibly pleased with the setup. I published the profile I used to help others and put all the files into one 3mf to allow for quick selection of parts. I'm working on printing some more in the future to extend my link system to the walls as a full Ryobi Link Rail won't fit (3 pieces from the wall edge) so this print came in handy!

Just printed out 3 sets and after I got them on the wall none of the Ryobi tool hangers would fit. Did I do something wrong. I printed the files as is.

I used Bambu petg. As you can tell I went ahead to see how much force I needed to use just to get the tool holder to go in.

did you use PETG HF? Also enable the supports from the bed up? seems to have worked for me. I would try recalibrating and then printing one at a time to test fit

Currently printing these out for my workshop. With my calculations I need 150g of filament per piece so around 1.8kg for two rows of 12 total pieces. That works out to around 30$ for me instead of paying 50$+ for the official system. Appreciate the savings and ability to customize the setup as well. They look great especially with supports.
