Do you have a porch goose? Do you want to dress it up for holidays? Here's your chance for a quick makeover. This was designed for the 17" plastic version, but has been reported to fit others. (Not personally testing, but scaling provided by other users for different sizes: Increase scale to %150 for the 23" version. Reduce scale to 61% for the 7" desk goose.)

Had to mess with the scale and I didn't get it QUITE right, but I literally do not care. I love it.

I'm glad you like it. Is that the gaggleville baby goose or a different version?

its a concrete baby from a local statuary. i keep forgetting to measure her so she is, unfortunately, unclothed.

I'm glad it fit. The band is designed specifically for the gaggleville baby plastic goose, but seems to work for other. Even if it doesn't fit perfectly.

I had a couple people mention the scaling was a bit off. I am uploading a new print profile for easier scaling.

@Andrew_Vieck what filament did you use for this? I'm having trouble finding the right color of green. Also, can uou make a cat ears headband for a porch goose?

The only green I have ever ordered is the PLA Basic Green. However, I think I got a tester roll when I ordered the printer. Not sure if that was the same or not. I can absolutely try to come up with some cat ears. Are you thinking 2D cartoonish or realistic?

2D cartoonish cat ears for sure!

I’ll see what I can do for you. Might be able to use a portion of my flaming cat ears headband and adapt it to the goose.

This is so cute and we love it, but the sizing wasn’t right. I had to print it multiple times to get it right, even after using the tip on scaling. I used the same tip to scale the Valentine’s headband and it worked perfectly. This one need a little bit of fidgeting with.

Unfortunately, I never got to test the scaling since I don't have the larger goose. There are a lot of headband options on my page. For future prints, I would use the measure tool on your Bambu Suite to measure the distance between the farthest points on a profile that worked with the scaling, then make note of that measurement. On the next one you want to scale measure the same distance and use the option to change the distance. It will let you scale the entire model based on that new measurement. This should be more precise than just adjusting the scale percentage overall. I hope this helps, and thank you for the feedback.

I went back to look at my print profile. This was one of the first I made and I didn't have the sizing set just right. The scaling was not uniform across the model. I just uploaded a new print profile with uniform scaling. Hopefully, this will help other users in the future. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Thank you! I took the scaling from your Valentine’s headband and used it for the St. Patrick’s Day headband and it worked!

Which size goose is this for?

The one we have and the one shown in the images is 17” tall. However, I got a message from someone that used it on a different size, and it seems to fit well. I attached the image they sent me. If yours is not the 17” version, you might want to measure the width at the widest point and uniform scale it up in your slicer. I’m going to go back and update the description with the size it was designed for in response to your comment.

This is what i did. I used a pair of (3d printed) calipers to get the sizing of the porch goose and my wife's desk goose. I then used measurement tool from inside the widest part of the each side of the headband inside Bambu studio edited and put in the mm of the measurement from the calipers. Works a treat.

I printed this at ~180% and it did fit on my 23” goose but very very tight and damaged the band slightly. I would print it at ~200% or so next time.
