Description

These are a scale recreation of the concepted half doors/donut doors that were shown by Ford, but sadly never released. They're intended for the Traxxas and Axial vehicles but may fit other similarly sized vehicles. They're shown on the TRX-4M in the pictures.

1/10th, 1/18th, and 1/24th are all set up in the project file.
A template is included to help you get the right shape. They're flanged and will mount from the inside of the body. They sit flush with the outside of the body. Remember to leave a little bit of room around the door handle mounts on the inside. I used a Dremel to cut out the shape on mine. To mount them I used extra strength double sided mounting tape from Hobby Lobby as well as some hot glue around the outside of the bezel, on the backside.
You could also cut the front windows out to make it look even more like the authentic half doors. You take responsibility for cutting the holes in the body.

Let's see your builds!
