Description

Info

(New Consistant layer profile available)

Bambu lab likes to send you a 1000 swatches for their colours which usually means you either bin them, shove them at the back of a draw to never see the light of day again or make a nice swatch book, wall art ect.

For the swatch collectors who like to use HueForge wouldn't it be nice if HueForge also used the same type of swatch for their colour calibration test so you could cover your entire house in gradient and colour swatches?

Worry no more after hundreds of hours designing and testing I have came up with the ultimate Bambu and HueForge swatch called the BamHue Swatch that combines the best of both in an elegant design that will fit your 3D Printed frame/holder. and even if you don't use HueForge the gradient swatches still look pretty nice.

Setup

HueForge Setup

  1. Download the raw file “Bambu Lab Filament Swatch and Hueforge TD Step Test.stl” and place it into HueForge.
  2. In HueForge make the first filament layer black and starting at layer 21
  3. Place your calibration colour into the second filament layer and raise the slider all the way up to 26

If you are using a layer height of 0.04 black will be 40 and the calibration colour will be 50

Slicer Setup

If you are using Bambu Studio then the print profiles will have everything you need, just change out the colours on the preview window, their are two profiles available one without text and the another with text if you want to label the swatch with brand/colour.

Recommend updating the text already there rather than creating new text, you will have to realign the text after.

For other slicers you may need to manually add the filament changes at these layers and text may not work.

  • Layer 1 - 10 is the testing colour
  • Layer 10 - 21 is Black
  • Layer 21 - 25 is the testing colour

Then after printing its the same process as before, compare the printed item to the model in HueForge and change the TD value as needed.
