Description

Slim phone case for iphone SE with a few variations of kumiko patterns.

Recommend PETG/Nylon/ABS for durability

Supports are recommended for the radius on the back to turn out cleanly. Post-processing is recommended either way.

Photos of the model are after post-processing by filing away the layer lines with a single-cut 1" wide hand file, sanded with 120 grit sandpaper and then wet sanded with 1200 grit sandpaper. This results in a nice matte finish that makes it easier to see the patterns.

This is an excellent phone case with a wonderful design that I have received compliments on. My only concern is that the phone’s screen extends slightly past the case, meaning that a drop that lands perfectly face down will be a direct impact on the most delicate part, and if it’s a bumpy surface like asphalt that would be even worse. For a V2 of this model I would suggest extending the bezel around the screen.

Very lovely case and quite happy with the result. Could be made better by having a higher lip to protect the screen though. Printed in PLA and looks very nice printed in Bambu Labs Blue PLA Basic. Might have to try it in TPU and see what that's like.
