New design. RB-T Pro V2:

 

This is my most recent design. The RB-T Pro V2.

 

The RB-T Pro V2 is an improved, more comfortable, better grip with thumb rest, with the possibility of rubber pads** (TPU).

This design is an improved version of the previous RB-T model, but with better ergonomics and comfort, for better use and user enjoyment.

In this version, the design of the handle and fork have been improved, considering a thumb rest in order to create greater stability, increasing comfort for longer use.

Regarding the finish, PLA supports* were used to ensure a better finish of the lower surface. PLA supports are very easily removed from the PETG leaving a smooth surface with a very good appearance.

 

WARNINGS:

*For PLA supports, AMS or another type of filament change will be required. If you don't have AMS, choose the "no AMS" profile to use normal supports.

**The TPU pads have to be glued with some kind of contact glue or cyanocrylate.

 

This slingshot was printed with four perimeters and 50% infill.

 

Extrusion nozzle: 0.4mm

Layer height: 0.2mm

Filament: Bambu Lab PETG HF

Suport Filament: Bambu Lab Pla

Due to the functional nature of this object and the stresses involved during use, print quality, material selection, and correct assembly are critical factors. Improper printing settings, weak materials, or poor layer adhesion may result in structural failure and potential injury.

For best results and safety, the use of high-quality, reinforced filaments for the frame (such as PETG-CF or equivalent) is strongly recommended. Lower-grade materials may significantly reduce strength and durability.

Always inspect all parts before use. If any cracks, deformation, or weaknesses are detected, do not use the model.
