Description

A screw cap sealed spout for Mason Jar lids, which provide controlled pouring of both liquid or solid contents from your Mason jar.  Screw-on cap provides tight seal to avoid spills.  Screw on Funnels provide easy, hands-free access to add contents.

  • Two sizes to accommodate the WIDE-mouth or Normal mouth Mason Jars.
  • Two spout opening sizes: 20mm and 25mm. The 25mm Spout opening is presently only available for WIDE-mouth Mason jar

Easy prints, no supports required.  Please print the caps and funnels detached from the screw opening and upside-down.

3MF files have two print heights, higher resolution for the thread printing sections.

NEW: Wide Mouth Lid and screen available here:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/1470939-wide-mouth-mason-jar-lid-and-screen#profileId-1535206

Use with food items at your own risk based on your choice of printing material.

Recommend:

  • Height Range Modified layer heights: 0.2mm for the body, 0.12mm for higher resolution threads; and
  • PETG, I have not tested using PLA but, it should print.

Print profiles:

  • Both regular spout (20mm) print profiles with caps;
  • 20mm spout for normal-lid Mason jars;
  • 20mm spout for WIDE-mouth Mason jars;
  • 80mm Screw On Funnel for the regular (20mm) spout for both normal and wide-mouth Mason Jars; and
  • Large spout (25mm), only for WIDE-mouth Mason jars.
  • Large spout (25mm) Funnel for WIDE-mouth Mason jars.
  • Screw on lid (full or for screw cap spout) for normal lid Mason Jars.
    • With or without hole; and
    • optional side text.
  • Screw on lid with 2mm hexagon screen
    • 20 mm; or
    • 25 mm
    •

All good. Yeah, ratings; it's buggy. Sometimes under your User profile, then Ratings, often models don't appear to be able to rate. Appreciate the photo!

What a great idea, I must try that, thanks for the feedback! You inspired me to re-design the screw caps to have a filter screen to screen out any banana chunks (or other stuff) when pouring from the spout. Edit: They are now live here as 2 different print profiles: 20 or 25mm versions (see attached picture, no obligations). I grow sprouts in wide-mouth mason jars, and found the metal rings start to rust after time, so I've recently published a printable ring that will fit the wide-mouth version of 'Screw Cap Spouts'. If interest (again, no obligation) check out "Wide Mouth Mason Jar Screw Lid and Screens" There is a print profile for just the lid. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1470939-wide-mouth-mason-jar-screw-lid-and-screens#profileId-1535220

I am new to printing and have tried four times now and this keeps happening to me. The first three times, I just imported to bambu studio and printed. The last time I changed to 40% infill and still got this result. Anybody know what I am doing wrong? Seems like everybody else printed this fine. I have the A1 bambu printer.

Hi, I am sorry that this keeps happening to you. I have printed many of these and never seen this issue with any of my prints on a P1S. Increasing to 40% infill won't make a difference, I recommend 15% Gyroid, as the infill for this model is only for layers 5-25. Wall loops=2 and bottom layers=3 , top=5 which provides structure for this model. I am a P1S person, not A1 but to me you may have either an extrusion, or a filament issue. The Wiki explains the possible extrusion issue, and rectification better than I could: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/troubleshooting/how-to-check-which-part-is-clogged. Other than that it may be a filament temperature or moisture issue. PETG-HF, TPU require drying. Drying: see "stringing and oozing" section here: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/knowledge-sharing/common-print-quality-problem 1/2

2/2 If you are using Bambu Filament, are you using the recommended filament temperature settings? If you are using a custom (non-Bambu) filament, your settings may be too cold. Check: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/custom-filament-issue Hope this helps. There are a lot of issues that could cause, this. Thank you for not immediately blaming the model design. It has printed well for many people so I think it must be one of your print settings. Consider printing something else with the same filament (the cap perhaps?) and see if the same problem repeats. One last thought: your nozzle may be slightly plugged too. Try: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/knowledge-sharing/common-print-quality-problem or https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x1/troubleshooting/nozzle-clog
