Description

I designed this model based on the SRAM ultimate piston spreader model to stop having to use screwdrivers e.t.c. from damaging calipers

It requires an M5 cap head bolt I would recommend one with a full thread length of around 65mm (no shoulder) and 2xM5 nuts.

A M5x10x7mm brass heat insert is also required to put into the body of the tool.

Once printed you clip the bolt into the wedge, then hand thread the bolt through the insert. Once the thread is through you then screw the first nut on, pop the knob on followed by the second nut and lock it off against the first nut. To finish it off put the little cap on the end of the knob and finished :-)

To use the device:

Remove the wheel and pads insert the tool and reattach the pad bolts through the hole and slot in the tool then wind the knob to push the wedge and spread the pistons. Once spread remove and use your bleed block to bleed the system and then refit pads and wheel
