Description

Rabbit Rattle – Traditional Noisemaker (80 dB)

Looking for a fun and loud noisemaker? This rabbit rattle (jänisräikkä) is a classic mechanical sound device that produces a sharp, rattling noise when spun. Traditionally used in celebrations, sports events, and even hunting, this 3D-printed version offers a modern take on an old-school tool!

How It Works

The rattle consists of a rotating gear and a flexible striker that repeatedly snaps against the teeth of the gear as it spins. This rapid impact creates a loud and rhythmic clicking noise. My design generates approximately 80 dB, making it comparable to city traffic or a ringing alarm clock.

Why Print This?

✔️ Easy to Assemble – Just print, snap together, and spin!
✔️ Loud & Fun – Great for sports, parties, or practical noise-making.
