Swan neck ring splint (Size 9)

I designed this ring splint to help in a pinch for those with hypermobile joints in their fingers. It is modeled for my own needs, it should be right about a size 9 on the larger end. Ring splints are intended to keep the joint from hyperextending or “swooping” / “swan neck” effect.

If you try this out and find that you are happy with scaling it to achieve a different fit, please share what percentages you used and your corresponding ring size.

I plan on making adjustments to this and uploading further variations, so feedback is very welcome! Or if there are variations you'd like to see, please leave that in the comments!

I have printed with both PLA and PETG with great results. A gentle sanding may be beneficial for a smooth comfortable fit.

Disclaimer: These are not recommended for long term use, but to be used as a temporary tool to see if ring splints are a successful treatment approach for you! Silver splints are long lasting and will be more comfortable, but they are very expensive.
