I have also printed this model. First, as shown in the profile; the main plate is not a problem, although the supports are relatively difficult to remove, it works with the right technique. For the two inserts, I question why they should be printed vertically. Arms break off easily that way. I laid these flat on the print bed with standard support settings; the underside is not the prettiest, but it works. And the arms now also spring easily. Additionally, I placed the inserts again with the top side at the edge of the print bed so that the arms rest on and heat up. Then I bent the arms slightly outwards and let them cool. Now the teeth engage.

It looks great, but could you make the three prongs (on both sides) a little longer? In the picture of your design, they look longer than on the model. They don't hold in the plate's meshing. Or could you perhaps add some pre-tension to the whole thing?

The print was good and it works. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test it on the awning yet

Super awning plate, almost like the original. Thanks also to @10MF for the better construction of the inlays, now the teeth also engage in the rails. Printed with PETG on Ender 3-V3SE, 5 walls and 15% infill. It is important to print lying down with support!!! Do not print standing up, as this will create weak points and the latches will break immediately (tried several times, including with 5 walls)
