Description

Simplify cleaning the bottom of your P1S!

MK2 update:

  • Instead of a complicated-to-print quarter pipe, I made it flat. If you have a smooth or satin sheet, you should print it with the sloped face down. It'll come out perfectly smooth so the junk can't catch anywhere. If you do not have a smooth build plate, simply print it on its bottom side.
  • No longer separated and prints in a single part diagonally across the build plate.

Are you as lazy as I am? Do you let filament waste accumulate at the bottom of the printer because it's such a hassle to get the vacuum out? Of course you do. We all do.

This is a ramp that fits nicely into the bottom front of the Bambu P1S (perhaps the X1C as well - I don't have one to test it on) and creates a ramp to more easily facilitate scooping up all the junk that have accumulated at the bottom of the printer. It prints without supports of course.

I printed mine in PETG so it would better withstand possible heat build-up, but unless you're printing ABS, ASA or other materials that require much higher temps, you will definitely get away with PLA.

Both STL and .f3d archive is available.

I'm releasing this into Public Domain, i.e. fully open source with the parametric fusion archive file so it's easy to modify if you want to. Public Domain means you can do whatever the heck you want with it. But it's still considered bad practice not to give credit if you do decide to use it elsewhere and publish it.
