Description
Its a shame Apple made this Mac Mini M4 with a Powerbutton not only on the downside but also on the back.
Dont forget, they didnt even sell a solution for the problem they made. Since no-one uploaded a mounting option with a front powerbutton system i came up with this idea.
Apple Mac Mini 2024 M4 Mount with Front Power Button system.
Designed to place the Mac Mini in a roadcase for AV Rentall where you cant reach the powerbutton easy when installed in a 1,5HE Space.
Specs:
- Needs only ~60mm Height in total to make the Powersystem work. (~1,4U)
- Multiple Mounting options on 2 Sides
- Thight fit, the Mac Mini wont slide inside the mount when bolted down.
- Mounting Holes are Countersunk M6, use whatever you prefer to use.
- Special Designed Cable Support to place behind the connectors and secure them with a Tie-rap so they cant come loose in transport.
Lever/Power Button Mounting:
- To Mount the “Lever” you need 1 M6 Brass Insert 5mm with a M6x18-22mm Bolt
- For the Power “Lever” its optional to print the support part to take out a bit downforce on the Bolt/Insert when pushing the lever.
- Screw the case down thight to remove any space that add's space between the Lever and the Powerbutton on the Mac
