NEW PORTUGUESE VERSION

NEW SPANISH VERSION

This 3D-printed version is a faithful reinterpretation of the original Ring-a-Date Calendar, preserving its distinctive manual adjustment mechanism in a more compact format. Designed for easy printing and assembly, it retains the essence of the classic while making it accessible to a new generation of design enthusiasts. While the original was produced in white, yellow, and green, this version allows for complete color customization, letting you create unique combinations to suit your style.

The Ring-a-Date Calendar by Giorgio Della Beffa is a classic example of mid-century modern design, created in the 1970s during Italy's Space Age design boom. The calendar features a distinctive mechanism where users manually adjust three colored rings to set the current date. This tactile interaction offers a unique, visually engaging way to track the days. Originally celebrated for its minimalist and futuristic aesthetic, it even earned a place at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

Printing Instructions
This model is designed for multicolor printing, but it can also be printed in a single color with a manual filament change at the last layer to achieve a dual-color effect. If your printer does not support automatic multicolor printing, simply add a pause (M600 command) at the desired layer to swap the filament manually. The model can be printed in multiple colors without needing to split the STL into separate parts. Simply assign a different color at the pause before the last layer.

Additionally, the model is scalable, allowing you to print it at a larger size to fit the build plate of different printers. While it has been optimized for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, it can be resized to maximize the print area of larger machines such as the P1S, P1P, X1 Carbon, or even Creality’s latest models.
