Multi-Mic Stand mount (x6) - SHURE ULXD

Introduction

I have seen a similar mount in the past just to hold 6x wireless mics side of stage, on a single microphone stand.

I didn't quite want to fork out $50 for an accessory that I figured I could create on my own, so here is my first crack at designing something I use on a frequent basis!

I've designed this around the specifications of Shure ULXD2 handheld microphone in mind - but I am most certain it will fit other wireless mics.

Do let me know what microphones you use and if they work, or there are any changes to be made to fit!

It's my first real design from scratch other than small storage bits around the home, so I am looking to get better at designing things. All feedback is welcome.

I have printed this in Bambu PLA Basic and it feels sturdy enough, I will give it a few weeks at gigs and events to see how it stands up. I don't see an issue unless people get particularly rough with it.

I am already envisioning an update with a lip and separate TPU topper to add some cushioning - let's hope I get that done within the month or so!

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS

I've had the model face down (screw hole facing up) with a textured PEI plate to add texture to the top face of the unit. 

This just fits in the bed of the A1 mini.

Default settings for 0.16mm Optimal @BBL A1M seem to work just fine.

Do let the plate cool down before pulling it off to prevent deforming the print.

The 5/8" screw hole works just with about any mic stand or mic 5/8" thread adaptor, it doesn't punch through as I wanted to keep the top looking clean and the print as small profile as possible.

If in constant use and moving between microphone stands I would recommend leaving a 5/8" thread adaptor inside the hole to prevent tearing up the plastic threads with constant movement.
