Description

Pool Table for 1:12 Scale Action Figures

This pool table is the first in a series of pieces I'm creating for a 1:12 scale “dive bar” diorama to give me GI Joe Classified Dreadnoks a place to hang out. This is based on an 8' pool table. The top of the table lifts off (held in place by pegs) to provide a very large area for accessory storage. As you can see in one of the model images, there is ample room for the various extra weapons, tools, hands, heads, etc. that most 1:12 scale action figures come with.

This would be a great piece for any 1:12 scale action figures that need to blow off some steam in friendly competition (Valaverse, Marvel Legends, WWE, Star Wars Black, etc.).

The model is designed to need no glue; however the pegs are only meant to locate the parts, not lock them together. The table and cue rack have sat on my shelf for several weeks now without issue, but obviously you can glue yours together for added security.

A few words on the accessories:

The cues  will need to be cut from the central tower and baseplate they are printed with for stability. They will need a little bit of clean-up (trimming/sanding) post printing. The ends still have a little wobble to them, but you can't really see it unless you're looking at them pretty close. They look great in the hands of my Dreadnoks on the shelf. They may have printed better laying down but I wanted the multiple colors without hundreds of filament changes. Also, the balls do not always print perfectly round, but they too can be trimmed/sanded post printing to improve their shape. Note that this was not intended to be a playable table; I was going for aesthetics from a diorama perspective.

Thanks for looking!
