1/24th Scale Spacex Raptor 3 Engine Model
Print Profile(2)

Description
Summary:
This model was made for a class, but I thought I would post it here. This is a 1/24 scale model of the SpaceX Raptor 3 engine. It is a partial fidelity model, meaning that most details are there, but it is made to be on the smaller end. Originally, this was designed for SLS printing, so if you want to FDM print it, I recommend doing the 150 percent scale profile instead.
Features:
- The little loop on top in its original scale allows for a string to be looped through it and used as an ornament.
- Little loop on the side also allows for hanging as ornament.
- Hollow interior upper section to reduce weight and not make it top heavy.
Variations:
- Bell nozzle 1: The original, no holes in top.
- Bell nozzle 2: Holes in the top to allow for air to flow all the way through the top and out the bottom. Fun if you have access to an air compressor, but it's definitely not needed.
Assembly:
Push the top and bottom together until a snap is heard
(Note: Once this is done, they cannot easily be separated.)
- If there is too much gap for your liking, a dot of glue can be applied between the two parts to hold them in place permanently.
