Description

Hey, I'm Foxwood! If you like my work, be sure to follow me for more design in the future!

As someone who has worked on several Kumiko designs, I knew when I read about this new contest that I had to incorporate this style once again for my entry.

Featuring a Kumiko-patterned base, this design pays homage to the intricate wooden latticework that has been a staple of Japanese architecture for centuries. The Kumiko pattern, known for its precision and artistic symmetry, creates a striking visual texture that adds depth and beauty to the piece.

The base is specifically designed to pair with the Corcelain square pot.  The planter offers customization options through its accent colour insert, allowing users to personalize the piece by choosing their own colour combination for the inner and outer parts of the base.

This design embraces the theme of blending traditional techniques with contemporary technology, offering a versatile and customizable solution for plant lovers, designers, and enthusiasts alike. It’s a perfect example of how Corcelain’s innovative approach can enhance the beauty of handmade craftsmanship while offering endless possibilities for personalization.

Where is the print for the pot itself? Or am I missing something?

Sorry I had not linked it in the description but the corcelain pot for the contest has been uploaded by Corcelain themselves and I am not sure I am aloud to upload it myself so you will need to get it from them. I have added a link to the description but here is the link also https://makerworld.com/en/models/1079258-corcelain-square#profileId-1070723

Printed very nice. Note that it ended up just a little bit off center on the cup when I screwed it into the porelain one I finally got from Japan. Not sure if it's the model or the cup, but its hardly noticeable. Edit: Yes it's the model - or at least the one in your picture has the same problem ;
