The macaroon's origins can be traced to Italy, likely during the Renaissance. The word "macaroon" is believed to derive from the Italian "ammaccare," meaning "to crush," referring to the almond paste used in early recipes. This super cute representation is perfect for spring colors and excellent for fidgeting!
