Description

My version of the Stanton dog locks. This is original design, with my own measurements and modeling.

Parts needed:

For the bar: 4 X 5mm height M6 hot insert, 8mm diameter

4 X 12mm M6 thumbscrew - make sure that the thumbscrew head diameter is 19mm or less, otherwise it will collide with the bench dogs.

Print profile - 0.2mm layer, 100% infill.

Please ignore the bad print quality, I was experimenting with layer size. The part turned out ugly, but it functions properly.

I have been using the UJK for a few years and they are getting wore out where the wire would fall out every time I took it off. I have spent so much time crawling around on the floor looking for it. So far these have been working great. Although I don't have a ton of time using them yet. I was really wanting a hinge setup but didn't want to spend the money. Now I don't think I will go that route. Great job, I love printing real solutions to problems. And save money.

Thank you for your review, this is exactly the reason that I created this print. A simple solution without spending allot of money on commercial products. I have also created a unique hinge system that I will publish soon.

Printed great! I have a Ridgid Track Saw, and it's t-Track wall thickness seems to be thicker by 1mm (see pictures) I also used 1/4-20 knobs by opening the bolt holes on the hook to 7mm. Is it possible to make a version with the bolt hole moved 1mm (see pictures. Thanks

Hi, sure, I can make a version for you to test and I will upload it if it works for your Ridgid. Thank you for your feedback.

Funny that you’re making a “version” of Stantons design and then you licens your version without any rights to remix etc. - is that not bad karma?

Might try these to compare - you can also just buy the actual Stanton Dog Lock files on Etsy for a fiver and support the original designer
