Like this model?  Let me know with a boost and rating.  That's the best way to encourage making models like this!

A “functional” 3D printed bugle for the music instrument contest.  Obviously, this is not going to work like the real thing.  With practice, it is possible to get repeatable, decent sounds out of it.  Even then, this is just an amusing noisemaker.  I went heavy on supports inside the bell, so edit to your preference.  The last support in the lead pipe can be a bit tedious, but it comes out easily with the support settings I used.

Several people have messaged and commented about the sound.  Here is a video of the sound you can expect it to make when you get used to it:

Wonderful, my son is thrilled Super profile To remove the support structures, I initially used a screwdriver Everything came off in one piece For the inside of the tube I used scissors and rotated them… then everything came out very easily (see image)

Pretty much what you hear in the video is what it will do. You can manipulate it a bit up or down but it doesn’t play like a regular horn.

you can try moving your tongue up and down, see if the tone changes. If you knew/know how to do it, congratulations, you’re a brass instrument player :)

If you mean the sound, the video in the description shows what you can expect it to sound like. If you mean the print, the only annoying bit is getting the last support out of the lead pipe, but it just takes a bit of patience.

really fun print the only problem is it on makes a wind noise so I'm printing a trumpet mouthpiece to see if that makes it sound better. maybe edit the design so it can fit a mouthpiece cuz that'd be cool

Yeah it definitely takes a different technique than the real thing, your embouchure feels almost like playing a trombone.
