Description

This FDM-optimized tablet stand features an adjustable worm gear self-locking clamp for securely holding tablets or portable displays. The dual-axis hinge base enables multi-angle adjustments, with all components miniaturized to fit 180×180mm build plates (including Bambu Lab A1 Mini). No metal parts required for assembly.

I. Core Components

1. Dual-Axis Adjustable Base

  • Modular trio: Baseplate / Main bracket / Clamp base
  • Dual-bolt hinge system with 24-step positioning teeth per axis (15° increments)
  • Operation: Loosen hand-knob nuts for angle adjustment; precision tolerance ensures zero wobble

2. Worm Gear Clamp Assembly

  • Self-locking mechanism: Worm gear transmission prevents slippage
  • Interchangeable arms: Compatible with iPad mini to 15" devices (weight limits apply for larger screens)
  • Tool-free storage: Drive rod detaches and embeds in main bracket’s storage slot

II. Key Features

  • Printer-friendly: All parts fit 180×180mm platforms
  • Support-free printing: Optimized geometry eliminates overhangs
  • Strength-first design: Primary stress paths parallel to print layers (XY plane)
  • Pure 3D-printed build: Zero external hardware required

III. System Compatibility

Part of the modular monitor/tablet stand ecosystem with 2 bases and 3 mounts:

1.  Base Units

2. Mount Options

Note: The included Print & Assembly Guide provides step-by-step instructions and clamping force fine-tuning tips. Always review before installation.
