Leveling Feet for IKEA BROR Workbench and Shelf

Update 2026 06-17: I have finally added a profile to fit the BROR shelving units. 

IKEA does not sell any way to level their BROR workbenches or shelves, and the included feet are very likely to damage floors. This model will fix both of those issues. With this model your workbench can have heavy duty and height adjustable legs that will protect your floors. These have been tested to hold over 150 kg / 330 lbs per leg, well beyond what the benches are advertised for. The height is adjustable from 35 mm to 60 mm. These would also work to put casters on the bottom of your BROR workbenches, instead of feet (casters not recommended for shelves due to tipping risk). 

Note: The BROR shelves use thinner gauge steel than BROR workbenches. Be sure to print the profile for the unit to have for a correct fit. 

This model was designed around these feet, which comes with all of the hardware and the wrench you need. Just place the included t-nut in the bottom hole, line up the holes for the screws, and then screw in the hardware, as shown in the picture. The tolerances are quite snug on this model, and if you're having trouble getting the t-nut into the hole, consider putting the t-nut in the freezer to shrink it a bit before putting it in. 

There are many clones of the hardware on amazon so look around if the link above doesn't work for your region. If you can't find a match, see the dimensions in the photo to help your search. Any foot with a 3/8" / M9 bolt should work, but will need nuts and washers.  

I recommend printing in PETG just because it's not as brittle PLA, but any filament should do. The infill is fairly high on this model, which will ensure very heavy duty feet.
