Description
Minimally invasive brackets for adding generic skid shoes typically intended for 2-stage snowblowers to my EGO single stage snow blower.
Fixes a design issue with the snowblower where it catches on every single crack or concrete joint no matter how tiny.
Skid Shoe Mounting:
- Carriage Bolt & Threaded holes are 3" (76mm) on center
- Slots accommodate 1.75" (45mm) to 3.75" (95mm) centers

Parts were designed for sheet metal (see files for .DXF for use with a sheet metal fab service) but prototypes held up surprisingly well for the snow season printed in PLA. Use of higher strength filaments could result in strong enough parts to use permanently. YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY. Printed parts will need to be tapped ¼"-20. Assembly guide shows sheet metal parts, but process is identical for printed parts.
Parts in BOM are from www.mcmaster.com, but should be readily available at your local hardware store (at least in the USA, no metric version currently, sorry!)
