Description
This is Timmy the flexi Sea Turtle, who is good friends with Sally, Susie, and Lucy. You can see him chilling with Susie in the attached video.
He's pretty small at about 4 inches or 10cm long, so if you have a printer with a larger build plate you can print six at once!
I've designed his shell so you can get nice effects by changing colours are various layers; my print uses four colours and ten colour changes, but you are obviously free to colour as you wish in Bambu Studio.
Please clean your build plate thoroughly, as there are many small parts on the first layer.
Filament
I've used both BambuLabs Basic and Matte PLA successfully.
Print settings:
I use a 0.2 layer height and 0.4 nozzle, I set the z-seam to “back”, and orientate the model as shown in the photos. Z seam to “back” and the given orientation avoids small strings that otherwise can connect adjacent cells.
