Description

Martenitsa or martenitsas represent a part of an old bulgarian tradition - celebrating the upcoming spring. Every year on 1st of March people in Bulgaria exchange and wear martenitsas. These are red and white dolls or bracelets, that could be made of wool, cotton or silk. The dolls could be worn clipped on the chest of a piece of clothing, and are called Pizho (the male one) and Penda (the female one). Both of them could be red or white, although often Pizho is accepted to be white-coloured. The people wear martenitsa until seeing a storck, and then they should tie it to a fruit tree, as a sybmol of good health, luck and rich harvest.

The most important feature of this model is the fuzzy skin - this way it looks like its made of woolen yarn. You are welcome to try different settings for fuzzy surface in order to create unique appearance. Also you can alternate the colouring of the objects.
