Description

This is a modification of the original case made by Troyerse.

 

I found the original design lovely but unnecessarily bulky. This modification still provides the same protection for the sides of the phone, which usually drops on the ground first and relieves the stress from the glass during impact.

 

  • I cut the back of the case so it is thinner, but it is no longer level with the camera bump It makes the case much slimmer and lighter but provides less protection to the camera. Keep it in mind;
  • Chopped off some unnecessary plastic around the buttons;
  • Added fillets around sharp corners;

Printing:

  • PLA, PETG, ABS

Notes:

  • PLA with standard settings should be fine for a quick print, but due to weaker impact protection, I would recommend ABS or PETG
  • TPU might be too flexible for this design (not tested)
  • No supports

Great design, little bit thin. I covered the back side with leather. so far the extra thickness of the leather protect also the lenses. without this is the back side not really balanced. Thank you for the file.

the case has a little wobble to it when it’s hot but it still came out really good
