Description

Don't forget to boost ! :D

I added an integrated rear sights who can rotate to place or remove the WiiMote.
I also added an hole at the rear of the trigger emplacement for receive the pen spring.

So, with this two upgrade wii (we) have a perfect and beautiful gun for the Wii !

Thanks a lot to @Kevinwulf_467845 for the gun base.

This design is just awesome. I found there was a little bit of "slop" in the trigger with my pen spring, but a small bit of packing in the hole to shorten it made that go away... I certainly wouldn't blame the design for that as I'm not sure all springs are the same (although possibly including 1-2 shims 2-3mm high wouldn't be a horrible idea)

I've noted the improvement, please note that I'm working on an all-in-one trigger! (only the trigger will need printing)

worked fine in the end but I had to increase support size and enable brim as it went spaghetti during first attempt

Hi! Thanks for your feedback! I printed a second pistol using the Bambu Handy app (to fully embrace the experience) and I didn't need to adjust anything at all, so the provided file works perfectly, how did you print the file? Via the app or via Bambu Studio?

Hi, i only use the Bambu studio slicer and I always trust designer settings on first print attempt to be on the safe side. The only changed settings were the filament profile (obisouly) and machine presets (I own a P1P). thanks for your support I really enjoyed this model

I printed it on the default profile with an A1 (bedslinger) on the first try.

Need a Wii gun that fits well, is awesome, and well designed? Stop looking. I have printed four of them, stole springs from pens that were in the drunk (junk) drawer and cut them to length. The only thing I wished is that there was a nunchuck version. Great job!

Update, after using it the trigger kept popping off the cover, nothing a rubber band didn’t fix though

Fantastic print. No issues at all on a A1 (I did slow the print down to 50% about halfway throught just to be safe)

This works awesome. Great print and the Wii remote fits snug with no play. The trigger has a little sideways wobble but still works awesome.

Great print!! Found a spring from an old ballpoint pen and used some tweezers to get it to fit snug. Works perfectly.

Hi there, thanks for your amazing work! I tried printing this on my Elegoo Neptune 2S, but the build fell over as it was printing. I'm guessing because I didn't build it with supports? Any tips? Thanks!

Hey! Tree supports are mandatory for this print, you can look at the GIF in position 2/6 of the post, you will see the print as it should be prepared. Naturally, the result and the slicing present on MakerWorld are intended for a Bambu Lab, so you have to redo the support generation yourself on your own slicer. Anyway, look carefully at the positioning on the manufacturing GIF, it shows you the orientation and the position of the pistol PS I replied to you on Thingiverse but I do not know if it worked haha, as you can see here, the project has become exclusive to MakerWorld so all other platforms had to be removed

Hey, thank you very much for the quick reply! I'm working with ultimaker cura and I'm brand new to 3d printing, so I'm still just learning. A few other questions: Do the trigger and sight also have support trees? Does the gun touch the bed itself, or is the gun not actually touching the bed and just held up by support trees? thanks again.

No problem the trigger does not specifically need support but it has a hole for inserting the pen spring It is possible your printer might handle this part less effectively than a Bambulab so I recommend activating it for all elements and letting Cura decide on the presence of support or not Regarding your question about the pistol due to its design only the bottom of the handle touches the build plate The front might touch but not sufficiently which is why it is preferable to raise it enough so that tree supports can consolidate the entire print I hope this helps

Indeed, printed in PETG for superior robustness, it features exact dimensions for the Wiimote and operates impeccably
