The Universal Battery Storage & Quick Tester is a 2-piece 3D-printed organizer designed to store and quickly test a variety of household batteries. It features dedicated slots for C (LR14), AA (LR6), AAA (LR03), D (LR20), 9V (6LR61), CR2032, CR2025, CR2450, LR44, and LR1130 batteries, ensuring they stay neatly arranged and easily accessible.
🔋 Optimized for IKEA Helmer: The design fits perfectly inside the drawers of the popular IKEA Helmer organizer, making it an excellent storage solution for workspaces, workshops, and home offices.
Key Features:
✔ Dual-Piece Design: Consists of a Battery Holder Tray (top part for battery placement) and a Testing Base (bottom part for quick testing functionality).
✔ Quick Testing Function: Insert the black probe (negative) of a multimeter into the “Black Probe” hole, place a thin conductive sheet (e.g., aluminum foil or parchment paper) between the two sections, and instantly check battery voltage by making contact with the positive terminal.
✔ Efficient & Time-Saving: No need to remove batteries from the organizer—just place them in the vertical slots with the negative side down and test them in seconds.
✔ Button Cell Testing: Coin cell batteries (CR2032, CR2025, CR2450, LR44, LR1130) can be tested easily from the side, allowing for quick and hassle-free voltage checks.
✔ Additional Storage Compartments: Includes two extra compartments—one wider slot for additional spare batteries and another narrow slot designed to hold small battery packs or cardboard sleeves with button cell batteries in a vertical position, keeping everything neatly stored.
✔ Compact & Precise Fit: With dimensions of 124mm x 234mm, it integrates seamlessly into IKEA Helmer drawers while remaining portable and easy to store.
✔ Safe & Organized Storage: Prevents accidental short circuits, keeps batteries securely in place, and reduces the risk of potential sparks or fire hazards caused by mixed or loose batteries.
✔ Battery Fit Consideration: Some battery brands may have slightly different diameters, making a few batteries fit more tightly. If necessary, a light sanding of the corresponding slot can help, though in most cases, this is not required.
✔ Negative Terminal Adjustment: Some batteries have a slightly recessed negative terminal. If the tester does not make proper contact, simply add a small piece of aluminum foil in that area to ensure proper conductivity.
