Takahashi's Easter Egg Cup (CORCELAIN)
Print Profile(1)

Description

Kosuke Takahashi designed CORCELAIN with a sleek and refined aesthetic appearance.
Inspired by his work, I began designing with the historical relationship between Japan and The Netherlands in mind. This connection dates back to 1609 when the Dutch established exclusive trade with Japan, becoming one of the few nations granted access to its markets.

This era of intensive exchange fostered a unique bond between the two countries.
Building on Takahashi’s design, we created a 3D Delft Blue Amsterdam egg cup, saucer and stand, seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary design.
This set makes a perfect gift for Easter.
Thank you, Kosuke Takahashi, for your inspiration.
