The 3D printed rotary knife sharpener is an innovative tool designed to provide precise and uniform sharpening for a wide range of kitchen knives and cutting tools.
To glue the sandpaper on Rollers A and B, I used common cyanoacrylate. By creating different Rollers with different grits.
Made entirely with 3D printing technology, this knife sharpener combines functionality and modern design, while ensuring strength and lightness.
Main features:
- Rotating Structure: The rotating base allows you to sharpen the blades with a smooth and constant movement, ensuring a uniform sharpening angle along the entire length of the blade. This rotating system reduces irregular wear and increases the longevity of the knife.
- Quality Materials: Printed with high-quality filaments such as reinforced PLA or PETG, the knife sharpener is resistant to wear and offers solid stability during use. The parts subject to greater friction can be made with carbon fiber loaded filaments for greater resistance.
- Adjustable Sharpening System: On the rotating bases A and B, it is possible to attach 2 sandpapers of different grits (coarse for roughing and fine for polishing), the knife sharpener allows you to customize the level of sharpening according to the user's needs.
- Adjustable Angle: Thanks to its support, it is possible to precisely set the sharpening angle, choosing 15º and 20º, adapting it to different types of blade, from chef's knives to carving knives.
- Safety and Ease of Use: The base is designed to ensure excellent stability on any surface, while an ergonomic handle ensures a firm and secure grip during the sharpening operation.
- Compact and Space-Saving Design: The knife sharpener is designed to be easily disassembled and stored, making it ideal for kitchens of any size.
