Description
hi
So i had an accident and couldn't use my left arm for 6 weeks which was boring me because I missed some concerts.
Then I found these both models :
-"Accessible Trumpet Holder" by "Detour_53303" found on https://www.printables.com/model/460176-accessible-trumpet-holder/files
- "Trumpet Adaptive Device by Caitlin Driver" found on Thingiverse user UWM_DCRL: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:967861
From which I reused some pieces:
- Strap Clip V2 - TPU Clip.stl
- Trumpet_Holder___Main (I need to use a file to make the piece fits with my trumpet)
- Trumpet_Holder___Bottom (fit perfectly, just need to remove the supports)
- Trumpet_Holder___Dovetail (I changed the screw but it still fit)
I Added 3 models:
- support_trumpet_belt_1 and support_trumpet_belt_2 which you should attach to a belt and insert the baton;
- support_trumpet_top_screw1o8inch_v0 to fix on the top of the baton;
- support_trumpet_top_fill_screw1o8inch_v0 if you need to block the screw
The screw I used were 4mm diamleter.
I adapted my model for 1/8'' screw but didn't tested it.
I used a Forclaz baton Mt100 (about 7€).
This is a prototype, if I would work again on it, to improve it, I would move the rotation center foward toward the horn, to get a better balance, so the pice to modify would be "Trumpet_Holder___Main".
Feel free to make any modification, using the fusion autocad files for instance. Please leave a comment and mention your modification.
