Description
This folding wing mechanism allows aircraft wings to retract and deploy in flight. Its simple structure and lightweight design make it a fascinating project for many model enthusiasts. Note that this mechanism requires an MG996 or MG995 all-metal servo and a 6mm diameter, 12cm long carbon rod or hollow aluminum rod as the central axis of the gear. Sixteen 12mm M3 socket head cap screws are also needed. The construction process is very interesting; feel free to leave comments if you have any questions.
