Description

I love everything Back to the Future! It's actually what got me into 3D printing a couple years ago. I wanted to build sets and models from the movie, which I've done quite a few of now. My talent isn't anywhere near designing complicated 3D models myself (although I can do a pretty nice cube!), but thanks to Makerworld I've been able to create many 2D designs!

So today I decided to share one I just finished. If you love coffee and Back to the Future, this might be something fun to display. When Marty first walks into Lou's Cafe in 1955, you can see the sign advertising their 5 cent coffee, “Our Coffee ”Urn's" High Praise". Of course this is what Marty ends up getting served once he's denied a “TAB” and a "Pepsi Free", lol.

I took the image straight from the movie scene, removed the background, cleaned up the lines, increased the resolution and vectored it. I made it 4 colors, so it would be easy to print with 1 AMS unit. You could always add the other 2 colors (white & brown) by painting in Bambu Studio.  But I think it turned out pretty well as is.  Also, the letters are just slightly raised which gives them a sharper appearance. Hopefully there are a couple of you out there who will enjoy this too. Thanks for looking!
