Description

This is a build plate holder that attaches to the underside of Ikea Bror shelves. It will work to hang up standard Bambu Lab build plates for A1 / X1 / P1S / P1P models.

It was inspired by this magnetic build plate holder. I didn't have the right magnets handy, so I got the idea to hang the plate by the small gap.

The hanger is pretty thin, but the build plate is light enough that it doesn't have any issues supporting the weight.

I recommend printing this in PETG. PLA might work fine, but I haven't tried it.

Works great and is an elegant solution to my problem of not knowing where to stow unused build plates. wish i could give you stars, but since i printed this model offline i unfortunately cant. when i get boosts i'll be sure to give you a pair for this excellent utility!

I was afraid I would have to disassemble the furniture to put it in place, but it fits together quite easily as is. I put the plate in it to dry from time to time and I also put the gauge in it, which I have perforated to size.

Bed Adhesion Issue:for printing in petg as in the profile, the hook section needs a being, otherwise the physics of the part will cause it to lift and risk ripping the entire print off the plate

Thanks for pointing that out, and sorry about the issue. I'll get it updated. I was actually printing with a brim when working on the model, but Bambu Studio didn't add one automatically so I thought it might be safe without one.
