Description
3D Wall-Mounted World Map
Bring the world to your wall with this 3D-printed world map!
Each country is available as an individual STL file, allowing for a fully customizable design. I used five colors for contrast, but you can personalize it however you like.
To make assembly easier, I designed a baseplate for each continent. Countries press-fit into place, though for the tiniest nations, a dab of glue helps secure them.
Resources & Design
The map is based on an SVG from SimpleMaps, which I used to model each country and create the supporting baseplates.
This project is perfect for geography lovers and travelers, or anyone looking for a unique decor piece.
Printing
There are a lot of build plates. So make sure you try out some and see if you like it before you print all.
Bugfixes and updates
25/02/2025:
Romania was missing. Added the country as a stl in the files map (+ extra file for the base). If you already printed Europe just print the two extra files and click them into your map. Updated the print profile for Europe
