Description

Snowman Chess Set

Magnets optional!

This is my second chess set! Snowman Themed! I know that Christmas is over, but there is more snow in Canada than there was at Christmas.

The pauses are already programmed into the profile, and go into the pieces, and the board. It totals 96 2x4mm magnets. Make sure you get the polarity because it will be magnet, attracted to magnet. Inverting one will create repulsion instead of attraction.

After you drop the magnets into the holes, press “resume print” and the print will finish.

The supports in the box take a little time to remove, but not that challenging, leftover interface sometimes prevents the board form sliding in smooth. If you encounter resistance when inserting the board, look for supports interface under the top edge of the slot.

Always make sure that you allow the plate to cool to room temp while still on the machine before removing the board or box. This will help prevent warping of either of those parts. Anything flat and large that comes off your printer should be treated this way.

This is a link to my other chess set. Its a traditional style.

I use glue on all of my build plates. My favourite is Elmers washable school glue, disappearing purple

Beware: 3D printed things are not for small children. Some of the models have sharp edges or corners that can break the skin. Parts can break off and be swallowed. Smooth parts can break and become sharp. Please supervise small children while they play with 3D printed things.
