Flexi Mini Oriental Dragon

Introducing the flexi mini oriental dragon

This is the miniature version of my subscriber exclusive large flexi dragon - this miniature versions body was built from the ground up to fit on a single build plate - using only the head from the larger scale dragon

Each scale flexes individually as well as each arm joint - truly a unique dragon!

This new mini dragon is under 300mm long where as the larger scale dragon is over half a metre long!

The new mini dragon can print in under a day, will also include a A1 mini print profile, uses much less filament can be built in approximately 5 minutes using just a small amount of super glue

Simple to print - for those using the STL the settings are as follows

Recommended regular PLA

You need to print 2 left arms, 2 right arms and 25 connector blocks as well as each individual STL file

Body recommended 0.26 layer height

Supports on the head only (you can choose your preferred orientation, you can even level the head flatter for a faster print time)

No supports or brim needed on the body or arms

Z-hop enabled to reduce failures on printers with lower adhesion

Default slicer speed is fine (you can slow if your worried about adhesion failures)

Gyroid infill recommended

Build guide

Really simple, after removing the supports from the head and cleaned just glue the connector bocks into one body side. the align the opposite body side and glue the connector blocks into their opposing side - then glue the opposite fins together

It's recommended to glue 1 section at a time for ease

Once the body is complete simply glue each arm into the holes on the body in the correct orientation then click the head into the socket on the end

Glue the whiskers into the head
