The rings have a slight opening that you can spread apart when inserting the days from 0 to 9 in that order. The opening might be stuck together after printing; you can easily separate the two ends with a cutter.
The rings have a flat side, which allows them to stay in place in the holder. Make sure to insert the days so that the flat side is on the left when the days are facing the correct direction
