Description

I found this awesome kit model of the famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and adapted it to become a Gravitrax rail.  It's exactly 20mm high and 3 hexes long.  The print profile contains all the pieces on a single plate.  I've use green eSun PLA+, but any decent quality filament would do.   All the pieces are simply pressed together and ‘hey presto’, here's another interesting feature piece to add to your Gravitrax constructions.  The short video shows how to assemble the bridge and how it can be used.

The print uses about 30 grams of filament and takes 80 minutes using the standard 0.2mm profile at 100% speed. Supports have been provided under the rail hooks.

Thank you for your kind feedback. I'm working on a version that looks like the Miliau, Viaduct next.

This bridge is so cool thanks for designing it. It fits perfectly with my gravity track set and I like the colour I picked. 👍🏻

Hmm...have you cleaned your plate? I use isopropyl alcohol, purchased from my local hardware store. I've printed this model 4 times and it's been fine each time.

I'm truly at a loss for words After five attempts, I finally gave up and tossed it in the bin Oh well, there are always new, simpler, and especially more practical things to print

Well I'm sad to see these comments. I'm not sure what is the cause of the repeated print failures. However, as you can see by the feedback I've received, no one else has reported this issue. If you can identify what the issue is in the design or in the print profile is, I'll address it.
