This 3D printable model is a custom holder designed to securely display an Aresti Pilot Card, an essential tool for aerobatic pilots to keep their aerobatic sequence in view during flight. The design includes a built-in template to help you accurately size and cut your sequence card. When not in use, the template conveniently stores behind the pilot card within the holder.

Material Recommendations:

This model was optimized for ABS filament to withstand the high temperatures often encountered in a cockpit environment. PETG-HF is another great option, offering good printability and durability for less extreme conditions.

Support Removal:

The design incorporates support material beneath the four corner holders. To remove, use a screwdriver from the outside of the holder, pushing inward to dislodge the supports. This process can be slightly challenging but is manageable with care. 

Mounting Compatibility:

The holder’s mounting hole pattern is specifically designed to pair with the RAM Mounts GPS RAM-B-238U Diamond Ball Base with B Size 1" Ball. For secure installation, use 3/8-inch by 0.75-inch screws/bolts (Aviation AN3-7) paired with nylon locking nuts and washers. The nylon locking nuts are highly recommended to ensure hardware stays in place during the rigors of aerobatic flight.
