"Amethyst Speedway" Keychains (Spyro the Dragon)

Custom keychains using the portal text from Spyro the Dragon.

Credit to Insomniac Games for the text models, which I used for this.

I encourage you to make your own, either based directly off a game level… Or more unique like I did!

They use keychain rings. I've linked the Bambu Lab ones, but I've not tried them.

The ones I use - shown in the photos - are these ones.

Printing:

Printed on Bambu Lab P1S with 0.4mm nozzle and AMS, on Textured PEI Plate with the following filaments:

1. Voxelab PLA Pro (Purple)
2. Bambu PLA Basic (Yellow)
3. Bambu PLA Basic (Orange)
4. Bambu PLA Basic (Gold) (Text)

More Tips:

• You could just use 2 colors, but I added yellow and orange stripes as an extra accent.
• I used my AMS, but the color swaps are all layer-based, so you could totally just pause the print and perform manual swaps instead.
• I used variable layer height and made the text part 0.04mm. If you don't manually change your printer settings, you won't be able to go below 0.08mm. I'm sure it'll look great at 0.08mm as well, but it will be a bit different from what I've shown!
