Description

Green Day Dookie artwork Bomb / Missile

The Dookie Bomb or Missile from the album cover of the amazing 1994 album, Dookie, by Green Day.

I've made this based from the drawing  of the Dookie album cover, including the rivet type buldges near the top.

Purely a decorative piece for a Green Day fan, mine is alongside the Heart Like a Hand Grenade I've printed from here previously.

Printing

I personally used silver and black, as thats what the album artwork seems to depict, however at the Saviours concerts, the bombs that were dropped were white and black, so the choice is yours!

Assembly

It's printed in two pieces to make it a quicker print, so a very small amount of assembly needed.

To assemble, you will need some glue and a small cut off of filament (1.75 regular).

Once the parts are removed from the print bed, snip off some waste filament, this should be somewhere between 3-4 mm (holes on each side are 2mm). Insert those into one side of the Dookie Bomb (these do NOT need to be glued, they are purely to help align the two pieces together.

Now carefully spread some glue on this half, being careful not to overdo it, as you don't want a load of glue coming out when you squeeze it together!

Once the glue is evenly spread, attach the other half by aligning it and slotting in the filament that's poking out into the corresponding holes. Then hold together as per the directions of the glue you have used. For superglue, this is generally a very short space of time.

There you go, your very own Dookie artwork come to life :)
