Description

TicTac Toy Gun

This TicTac-compatible toy gun is my own design and features an opening on top where a small TicTac box can be inserted. By pulling back the slide mechanism and pressing the trigger, TicTacs can be fired from the gun.

This toy gun is a fun gadget, perfect for parties, birthdays, or just for some playful enjoyment.

Technical Details

Firing range: 2-3 meters

Weight: 95 grams

Durability: 10/10

Assembly

The gun consists of five parts:

1. Trigger

2. Slide mechanism – for cocking the spring

3. Spring (not included) – You can find a pack of 10 for around €2.50 on eBay or Amazon.

Spring specs: 6mm diameter, 0.6mm wire thickness, 50mm length

4 & 5. Housing – consists of two parts

Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Prepare the parts: You may need to remove some excess filament from the overhang (using a knife, flathead screwdriver, or similar tool) on the right plate, as shown in picture 4, to ensure the TicTac box fits properly.

2. Improve sliding (optional): If you want smoother sliding, this can easily be achieved by applying three small strips of adhesive tape (see picture 5).

3. Install the spring and slider: Insert the spring into the designated hole in the slider, then position both inside the left plate, as shown in the picture 6. Ensure that the spring is also inserted into the corresponding hole in the left plate.

4. Insert the trigger: Remove the small support structure. Place the trigger into the left plate (Picture 6).

5. Final assembly: Insert the right plate into the left plate. If necessary, you can glue them together.

6. Prepare and load the small TicTac box: As shown in Picture 7 and 8

Notes

• It is recommended to use PLA Basic or PLA Matte for printing. PETG has also been tested and works well.

• The performance of the TicTac gun may vary depending on the filament used, as a certain level of friction is required.

• The TicTacs will not fall out while loaded.

• Tested print profiles are available for the A1 Mini (single color) and X1C (single & multi-color).
