Description
Carrying case for Insta 360 X3
Add approximately 5mm of foam to protect the camera.
Optionally, add eight 3x3 magnets for improved closure and protection in case the hinges loosen or break. The magnets are press-fit and require no adhesive. If using magnets, carefully ensure correct polarity as removal is extremely difficult afterwards.
I printed the closures in red, this is optional; I used the same color in the model to reduce print time and material usage. If you choose a different color, print them on a separate plate.
It can be printed at 0.20 without problems; 0.16 takes significantly longer. It requires supports, which will naturally leave marks; minimum supports have been used.
Printed in PLA, the parts are designed so that if a closure or pin breaks, it can be reprinted and repaired. If the hinge or closure supports break, the system remains securely fastened by the magnets; this is why they are optional, but recommended.
