After much anticipation, the extended, detachable version is finally complete. An additional blade section has been added, increasing the length to 175mm for perfect compatibility with mini models. The tail features a detachable threaded end cap; both ends have been symmetrically widened to maximize blade storage space.

Extensive printing tests revealed that using the default classic wall generator style may occasionally prevent the thread from tightening. This is due to numerous discontinuities in the thread area, resulting in unusual protrusions. If this occurs, carefully remove the protrusions with a sculpting tool. Switching to the Arachne mode will mitigate this issue in future prints.

It is recommended to print the separate-part version. Compared to the one-piece version, it omits the support brim on the blade tip, eliminating the need for manual trimming and preventing potential hand injuries. The one-piece version is more suitable for mass production.

The updated blade improvement version optimizes the blade gap, resulting in a thicker blade tip and theoretically enhanced strength. However, the smaller gap between blades leads to variations in extension length depending on the filament used, necessitating post-print adjustment and compensation. Minor internal handle variations exist; mixing this version with the original is not recommended.

Wasted so much of my filament don’t print this if you’re using the A1 mini

This model weighs only 120 grams, relatively little material compared to other swords, if the print fails, check if the bed adhesion is poor or if there is a parameter issue, it is recommended not to print too fast, the A1 series platform moves back and forth so stability is not very good
