Description

This is a Blank NHL Hockey Helmet there are other like this and maybe better, but I wanted to share my design which was inspired by the football helmets. this is the same scale as the Football helmets. I have all the settings dialed in for X1 Carbon. .4mm with different layer heights where needed. I will continue to try to improve this overtime. Please let me know what you think and hope everyone likes it.

Has anyone successfully printed the cage? I have tried many, many times. I have used different filaments, heat profiles etc. I personally wanted to print this mask so I could airbrush a cool finish. Appears to need much more support, probably a reason there isn't a picture of it.

I laid the cage on its back and have printed it successfully a couple times. once you do that there is plenty of support for it. the model prints perfectly

Thanks. Printed the mask 20% larger, had some difficulties at first but added more trees and repositioned the object.

you really need to post a pic on how you printed the cage. its impossible to get a good print. i have been rotating and printing over and over again and it all sucks
