Description

These are slip-on rack-ears to mount a power-strip as a PDU within a 10 inch server rack.

The power-strip can be found on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXH774QM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
In case the listing is removed the powerstrip is made by “HHSOET” and is called “16 in 1 Recessed Power Strip Flat Plug” unfortunately no part number is provided.

The ears slip over the pre-existing mounting ears on the power-strip. The rack-ears are fastened to the power-strip with a M2.5x6 screw and use the power-strip's stock mounting hole. The ears also serve as a template so you can mark the areas on the power-strip that need clearancing for the rack mounting hardware. I used a small Dremel Rotary Tool and sanding drum but some sandpaper wrapped around a round object should also work.

The parts are designed in such a way that they must be printed vertically and require a brim to print. I used a 6mm brim in Bambu Labs Matte PLA for the best results. If you are expecting a lot of heat in your build PETG, ABS and PC were also tested and worked quite well. The included .3mf file is pre-set for 100% infill with a 6mm brim on a smooth PEI plate and includes two rack-ears. The parts are printed at full speed and with no supports which result in some printing artifacts, slowing things down and adding traditional supports could help improve print quality.
