This was a complicated design and took a while to test and make 3d printable, so any boosts would be welcome. Thank You!
My bodum mug lid had broken and now leaked. So I looked to 3d print a replacement. It was quite a complex geometry and so to make it 3d printable without a load of supports, I had to be quite clever with the design. It was also quite difficult to measure up, so I utilised carboard forms, which I then scanned into the computer and used them in fusion 360 to create the design.
Printed in PETG for durability and for food safety.
I believe this is a common flaw with bodum mugs so may be useful for others.
